'Farmers will get Rs1,000 per 20 kg of groundnut'

Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has said that farmers will get the same price of peanuts this year as last year.
According to a Times of India report, the Chief Minister said that farmers did not have to worry about the price paid for their crops.
Addressing farmers at the Mahatma Gandhi Temple in Gandhinagar, Vijay Rupani said, "This year there will be a good crop and the government will buy peanuts at Rs 1,000 per 20 kg. You need not worry."
He added that farmers besides other crops like peanuts will get good prices.

Gujarat breaking conditions for filling Sardar Sarovar Dam?

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath has written to the central government and questioned the Gujarat government for violating the conditions for filling the Sardar Sarovar Dam on the Narmada river.
According to The Telegraph report, Kamal Nath has written a letter to Union Water Power Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and demanded a meeting on the matter as soon as possible.
In his letter, Kamal Nath said that the water level in the dam had risen just before the deadline set by the Narmada Control Authority.
"As per the plan, the water level of Sardar Sarovar Dam was to be 134 meters by 31 August 2019," the letter read.
"In September, the dam should reach 135 m of water. So by 15 October 2019, the dam will need to fill 138.68 m."
Kamal Nath accused the Gujarat government of violating the terms, saying "By the afternoon of September 4, 2019, the water level had reached 135.47 meters."
The Chief Minister added that premature filling of the dam will have an impact on the people of Madhya Pradesh. As relief and rehabilitation work is underway in the central region of the dam.
According to him, if the water level of the dam increases over time, it will have an impact on the relief.

BJP has implemented 'Gujarat model of governance' at the center!

Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh has alleged that the BJP government has implemented 'Gujarat model of governance' at the Center.

Admitted to East CM Hospital in West Bengal

For the past one year, the ill-fated West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharya has been admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata following breathing problems.
According to the NDTV report, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had also arrived at the hospital to visit Buddhadev Bhattacharya.
According to information, a special medical team of five doctors has been set up to give the best treatment to Buddhadev Bhattacharjee.
"Bhattacharya was brought to the hospital after 8 pm. He suffered shortness of breath and low blood pressure," the news agency PTI quoted a statement from Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital as saying.
